Follow these steps

Restart the PC and check that the date, time and internet connection are correct.

Run Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters > Windows Update.

Free at least 15 GB of storage on the system drive.

Open Command Prompt as Administrator and run: net stop wuauserv, then net stop bits.

Rename C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution to SoftwareDistribution.old, then restart the services or reboot.
6
Run sfc /scannow if errors continue, then try Windows Update again.
